For us old-skool fans out there, is it on the same level as "On Fire!"
or is it more of the Stone Temple Petra stuff of "God Fixation"?

I don't really consider it to be like either of those albums, although it
would probably be more like "On Fire!" than "God Fixation." Jekyll and
Hyde is definitely their heaviest album, by far. The songs are basically
straight-forward with very heavy guitar. It's a great album; the only
problem with it is the length (a little over half an hour). I would still
recommend it, though.
